BUDDHIST PHILOSOPHY CLASSES FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2013-2014
Every human being wishes happiness and wishes to avoid suffering. And His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama advices that genuine happiness can be achieved by making a striking balance between material development (physical) and inner development (mental), and the later can be developed through training of mind.
In observance to His Holiness’ advice, the Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre has been organizing Buddhism class focusing on Buddhist philosophy, psychology, science and practice since 2008 and providing on-going opportunities to learn and practice the Tibetan values of altruism, love, compassion, non-violence and wisdom.
Since January 2010 Gomde Lharampa Geshe Thubten Samdup has been most kind and generous to teach the TCCC Buddhist philosophy classes. The classes are held on weekends and the language of instruction is Tibetan.
