Language Class

At the junior level, the focus is on building a strong foundation in conversational skills and grade level reading comprehension to help children become proficient in the language. Lessons are based on the language curriculum for weekend schools developed by the Department of Education (DOE), Central Tibetan Administration, India, and children’s learning styles using innovative and age-appropriate activities such as games, role plays, reading, storytelling and projects such as “Tibet our home project”. While children are having fun and learning, they also demonstrate respect, care and kindness to themselves and others.
