Dear Community members

Tashi Delek! We are delighted to bring out our inaugural newsletter to you. It gives us even more pleasure to announce that the construction for Phase I of the Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre (TCCC) renovation project has officially resumed on September 27, 2011. Click to read Sept-Oct Issue.
Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre

Tashi Delek,

We like to thank all the community members for coming in relatively good number to celebrate the 22nd Anniversary of
the Award of Nobel Peace Prize to His Holiness the Dalai Lama on Dec.10, 2011. We understand that many could not

make it due to work schedule and other personal reasons. We are sure that you could join us in the coming events.

Our celebration though somber in nature in view of the cancellation of all cultural programs and shows as a mark of
respect for our brothers and sisters in Tibet, who gave the ultimate sacrifice for Tibet, went well. Apart from other important programs of the Day, the central focus was given on TCCC Membership Drive. It was indeed encouraging to see very good response to this initiative on the part of the TCCC Board.

Building a strong membership base was one of the necessary approaches among other means to build TCCC as place

envisioned, blessed and supported by His Holiness and longed for by the community. The long term viability and sustainability of this centre lies in the active engagement and support from the community. Our membership drive will continue till all community members of 18 years and above is registered as TCCC members and feels ownership of Gangjong Choedenling.

It costs only $10 per month for an individual to become a proud member of TCCC but makes huge difference to Gangjong Choedenling. In addition to genuine feeling of belongingness to community, pride of joint ownership of TCCC with greater say in its administration and programs, members can enjoy voting rights, right to stand as candidate for Board election, discount on rentals and as well as during events. The details of membership benefits and obligations will be stated in the TCCC policies, procedures and by-laws being worked out.

Please click here to download the membership form.

Registration Days and Time:
